      The new 2010/2011 is fast approaching. Everyone interested in joining the City League better get their names to a committee member ASAP

Rule of the week: 


4. THE SERVICE 

 4.2 At the beginning of each game and each hand the server shall choose from which box to serve
and thereafter shall serve from alternate boxes while remaining the server. However, if a rally
ends in a let, the server shall serve again from the same box.
If the server moves to the wrong box, or either player is uncertain of the correct box for
serving, the Marker shall announce the correct box. The Referee shall rule on the correct box
if the Marker is uncertain or incorrect, or there is a dispute.

      As I typed above Get your name to a City League committee member ASAP if you are interested in playing and have not given them your name yet. As it stands now the draft will be a Huron Oaks Sept 15 2010 at 7 pm and the league will start Sept 22 2010

No Show Wall of Shame:

Everyone that is not on time. Early match's 18:20 late games 19:40. Please be there at the starting time unless you have prearranged with your opponent. Late starts make late finishes which is unfair to those on time and ready to go 


  This is a warning all. You will from now on potentially make the NO SHOW WALL OF SHAME if you are 10 minutes late after  your teams start time. Who will be the first on the list

Huron Oaks Squash web page. Huron Oaks has a web page at http://www.hosquashclub.com/ that is excellent. It includes such things as a calender of events section , a connection to their court bookings section ,a news section a box league section as well as a contact section.

    There have apparently been some issues with the Sarnia squash web. Sometimes one of the sections of the web page does not show completely on an individuals computer even though it does on other computers.If you do not see            Make a Free Website with Yola.      at the bottom of the page you are looking at then the page is not complete Yola has no answer to the problem. What has helped in the past is shutdown the computer go back online recheck the web page. Otherwise wait until the following day. It seems to self correct later. That is one of the problems with a free website I guess.
